← Feaniks HQ iNotice

I hear you. I see you. I notice you.

iNotice is the methodology at the heart of Feaniks HQ. It gives a name, and a home, to something good managers have always done: noticing the people they work with.

A word for it

Noticing has always happened. It's never had a home.

People notice each other all the time. A nod after a hard visit. A passing "well done". A mental note that surfaces, half-remembered, at an appraisal months later. The noticing is real. It just leaves no trace.

iNotice gives it one. And it's a verb, on purpose, because noticing is something you do. "I did three iNotices this week" is something anyone on a team can say.

Many workplace systems teach people to record what went wrong. iNotice starts from the other side: what went right, who did it, and what it shows. Concerns still matter, and they're handled carefully and fairly. They're just not the only thing worth writing down.

How it works

Notice. Evidence. Schedule. Sign off.

Four steps, carried by the four ideas that run through Feaniks HQ: Moments, Evidence, Pathway and Sign-offs.

  1. 01

    Notice

Say what you saw, in the moment, in a few seconds. It's captured against the person.

    Becomes a Moment
  2. 02

    Evidence

Link it to the standard, competency or value it shows, so everyday practice counts.

    Becomes Evidence
  3. 03

    Schedule

What it points to next, from a supervision to a refresher, lands in their forward view.

    Shapes the Pathway
  4. 04

    Sign off

When the evidence is there, an accountable person confirms it, with a full audit trail.

    Closes with a Sign-off
A manager's Monday

Same manager. Same team. A different Monday.

A service manager comes back after a weekend off. Three supervisions are booked for the week.

Without iNotice
  1. 08:30

A full inbox, a few amber training flags, and a paragraph of handover notes about one incident and one complaint.

  2. 09:15

A walk round. A rough feel for the weekend from people's faces.

  3. 10:00

Planning supervisions for people she hasn't seen at work in weeks. Last time's notes are a few lines in a document.

The supervisions end up being about the last fortnight's problems, not about the person.

With iNotice
  1. 08:30

Feaniks HQ shows the weekend's Moments for her service. Amina noticed Kai handling a difficult family visit with real calm. The night lead noticed three colleagues who handled a fall steadily. Two developmental notes, clearly marked.

  2. 08:40

She's read them all. She knows more about her team's weekend than any handover could tell her.

  3. 09:00

For each supervision, HQ shows that person's Moments since they last met. Sarah's conversation on Wednesday has real examples to start from.

The rest of the morning goes on managing people, not chasing paper.

An illustration. Names and examples are invented.

What we stand for

A place to be seen. Not a place to be watched.

Every product decision we make about iNotice comes back to these. When a feature is unclear, they decide it.

Presence over absence

We make what's happening visible first. Where something is missing, we show it as a prompt to look, not a mark against someone.

Kindness over surveillance

iNotice exists for development and recognition. Concerns follow a careful, fair route, and an accountable person always makes the call.

Everyone notices everyone

Noticing isn't only for managers. A new starter can notice a senior, and peers can notice peers. Attention flows in every direction.

Dignity of the noticed

People can see what's recorded about them, and every Moment stays tied to who noticed, when and why.

What iNotice will never do

  • Rank people against each other.
  • Set quotas for how often someone is noticed.
  • Start a disciplinary or HR process on its own.

Voice first, typing second

Notice at the speed of speech.

The best moments to notice happen on the move, between visits and on shift. So iNotice is designed to be spoken: a few seconds on any device, turned into a structured Moment you check and save.

Voice capture is the next part of iNotice we're bringing to life, and we're doing it with our Founding Partners, tested on real shifts by the teams who'll use it. Today, and always, Moments can be typed in seconds. And because teams speak many languages, iNotice is designed to respect that from the start.

Built in the open

Where iNotice is today, and what's next.

We're building Feaniks HQ with the providers who'll use it. Here's an honest view of what's in place, and what we're bringing to life with our Founding Partners.

In Feaniks HQ
  • Moments typed in seconds, captured against a person and tagged by type and by your values.
  • Evidence linking Moments, assessments, supervisions and training to the standards they prove.
  • Pathway showing each person what's due and what's next.
  • Sign-offs with a full audit trail.
Next, with our Founding Partners
  • Voice capture: speak what you notice, and HQ turns it into a structured Moment.
  • Staff see their own Moments, as they happen, with who noticed and why.
  • Everyone notices everyone, opening noticing to peers and whole teams.
